About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled R&D Director to lead our global R&D team at Cybex GMBH. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and technology strategy across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute technology strategy for our product platforms and partnerships
- Lead a global team of R&D professionals in Bayreuth, Vienna, Prague, Charlotte, and Kunshan
- Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations
- Anticipate and react to major technology changes to maintain company leadership in the competitive landscape
- Support innovation and drive improvement in product development and processes
- Recognize and incorporate industry-related advances in technology
Your Profile:
- Studies in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar education with excellent technical understanding
- Profound years of relevant work experience within the consumer goods industry, preferably in an international environment
- High leadership experience regarding interdisciplinary international teams and complex matrix organizations
- Management track record in family-owned companies appreciated
- Several years of experience in complex mechatronic products
- Proven track record of successfully managed product development projects, preferably in the consumer area about safety-related products
- Excellent English and German skills
