Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cost-effective supply of all materials, equipment, and services, including vendor acquisition and qualification, purchasing, price negotiation, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement best-in-class procurement policies and procedures.
- Lead the enhancement and implementation of planning processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement inventory/warehouse management systems.
- Establish and maintain efficient warehouse management processes.
- Lead material requirements planning and reschedule orders as needed.
- Negotiate purchase and payment terms with vendors.
- Resolve vendor pricing, quality, and delivery problems.
- Coordinate with other areas of the business to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely deliveries.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or a related field.
- Experience in laboratory material planning and GMP experience preferred.
- Expertise in MS Excel and other ERP applications.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification an advantage.
