CAE Project Coordinator for Pedestrian Safety

Position Overview

As a CAE Project Coordinator for Pedestrian Protection, you will play a crucial role in a dedicated team focused on the advancement of pedestrian safety components. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely development while achieving all project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all departments involved, gathering and aligning component specifications.
  • Independently create and adjust simulation models utilizing Beta CAE LS-Dyna.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in LS-Dyna, Beta CAE, Animator, and Linux systems.
  • Experience with Hyperworks Suite and Python programming is beneficial.
  • Conduct and verify calculations related to the functional development of pedestrian protection.
  • Propose and implement optimization strategies.
  • Engage in technical discussions and design reviews with clients and suppliers.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in leading project teams focused on pedestrian safety in automotive development.
  • Advanced knowledge of FEM systems including ANSA, META, LS-Dyna, and Animator.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as TCL, Python, or Bash is advantageous.
  • Exhibit strong independence, mobility, responsibility, and coordination capabilities.
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English are required.
