We are seeking an experienced Front-End Lead to join our founding team as a key member. This role offers a high degree of creative freedom and responsibility, combined with an attractive equity share (VSOP).
Key Responsibilities- Lead Front-End Development: Drive the development of our intuitive, high-performance web-based software interface, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Establish Layout Components: Collaborate with the team to define and implement flexible layout components used to generate professional slides.
- Ensure High Code Quality: Maintain high standards of code quality, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable front-end codebases.
- Contribute to Product Strategy: Play a key role in shaping the product strategy by providing insights into front-end development capabilities and limitations.
- Grow and Manage a Team: Hire engineering staff, plan the technical product roadmap, and act as a sparring partner for junior team members.
Professional Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of MVC and MVVM architectural patterns
- Proficient in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
- Expertise in writing modular and maintainable CSS using SCSS or CSS-in-JS libraries such as styled-components
- Ideally: Experience working in a company related to content, media, or design, such as web-based tools for graphic design or video editing
Other Requirements
- Residency in Germany, preferably Berlin
- Valid work authorization (no sponsorship available)
- Self-driven work style and resilience to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Fluency in German or English
- Ideally: Available to start within a short time frame
