We're seeking an experienced Front-End Lead to join our founding team, bringing their expertise in React and TypeScript to drive the development of our intuitive, high-performance web-based software interface. This role offers a unique blend of creative freedom, responsibility, and attractive equity shares in a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead front-end development: Drive the development of our software interface, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Establish layout components: Collaborate with the team to define and implement flexible layout components for generating professional slides.
  • Ensure high code quality: Maintain high standards of code quality, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable front-end codebases.
  • Contribute to product strategy: Provide insights into front-end development capabilities and limitations to shape the product strategy.
  • Grow and manage a team: Hire engineering staff, plan the technical product roadmap, and act as a sparring partner for junior team members.
Requirements

Professional requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of MVC and MVVM architectural patterns.
  • Proficient in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Expertise in writing modular and maintainable CSS using SCSS or CSS-in-JS libraries such as styled-components.
  • Ideally: Experience working in a company related to content, media, or design.

Other requirements

  • Residency in Germany, preferably Berlin.
  • Valid work authorization (no sponsorship available).
  • Self-driven work style and resilience to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluency in German or English.
  • Ideally: Available to start within a short time frame.
