Daily Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be accountable for the technical execution of Omnivise Cybersecurity initiatives. This includes:

  • Technical clarification, design, and architecture of cybersecurity solutions
  • Facilitating the procurement of third-party products
  • Implementing cybersecurity measures, monitoring progress, and preparing customer documentation

Your work may involve collaboration with colleagues and clients on various projects, participation in Factory Acceptance Tests, conducting customer witness tests, or executing on-site implementations at industrial facilities and power plants globally. You will be an integral part of the Deliver To Customers execution team, playing a crucial role in safeguarding critical infrastructure for our clients.

Key Contributions

  • Designing architecture, components, and mechanisms for cybersecurity solutions
  • Making informed decisions on security-related matters
  • Overseeing the procurement of necessary hardware/software for projects
  • Ensuring the implementation of Siemens Energy cybersecurity solutions aligns with industry best practices (both remotely and on-site)
  • Monitoring budgets and work progress while preparing documentation for clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience in executing cybersecurity projects; experience in Operational Technology is preferred
  • Proven experience in deploying and operating cybersecurity controls in Operational Technology (OT), with a preference for familiarity with Siemens Energy control systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of national and international cybersecurity standards and regulations related to OT and ICS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • A customer-centric approach with the ability to prioritize and manage high-pressure tasks
  • Preferred certifications include GICSP, CISSP, or similar, along with fluency in German and English
