We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Android Developer to join our dynamic team at Gini GmbH. As a key member of our mobile team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience with our mobile libraries and SDKs.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to reviewing, refining, and documenting requirements with Product Owners, mobile team members, and other stakeholders
- Write clear and well-structured code, maintaining our libraries, SDKs, and example apps
- Develop excellent developer documentation
- Actively contribute to the mobile team with new ideas and discuss technical aspects with the team, supporting the continuous integration and delivery of our libraries and SDKs
- Write reliable tests to ensure code performance and protection from future changes
- Onboard and accompany internal and external mobile developers to ensure they know what to build and that their contributions are of high quality
- Contribute to maintaining and improving the mobile team's agile development processes
- 10+ years of professional experience in mobile development, ideally in a dynamic organization
- Hard skills include Kotlin, Java, mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP), networking frameworks, continuous integration (GitHub Actions, Google Play, AppCenter, Firebase), dependency managers (Gradle, Maven publishing), testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso)
- Ability to make prompt and thoughtful decisions regarding SDK clients
- Experience with Camera APIs (Camera applications)
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles and Material UI
- Experience in building libraries for apps and/or consumer apps
- Curiosity and desire to learn new technologies
- Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
