Social Pedagogues

Social Workers (w, m, d)

Salary Group S 14 TVöD-SuE -

These positions are part of the Social Pedagogical Services division, with responsibilities in either the General Social Services Department (ASD) or the Foster Care Services Department (PKD), available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and support to families and young adults.
  • Implementing assistance programs for children, adolescents, families, and unaccompanied minors.
  • Initiating and overseeing support in accordance with SGB VIII.
  • Participating in family court procedures.
  • Processing notifications in compliance with child protection regulations.
  • Conducting individual and paired home visits.
  • Offering counseling and support to foster families and children within the PKD.
  • Collaborating with network partners.
  • Engaging in regular team meetings.
  • Access to bike leasing through salary conversion for permanent roles.
  • Maintaining documentation and managing digital files.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completed studies in social pedagogy with state recognition or equivalent qualifications.
  • Basic understanding of child and youth welfare legislation.
  • Professional experience in social work is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Availability for on-call duties outside regular hours.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle for work purposes.
