Cybersecurity Risk Manager

We invite you to become a part of our team at Hannover Re as a Cybersecurity Risk Manager on a permanent basis, where you will immerse yourself in the dynamic field of IT Security Risk & Compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and fellow Information Security Officers with daily operations and projects focused on IT and cybersecurity, encompassing global Information Security Management System (ISMS) operations and risk assessment.
- Serving as the primary global contact for designated IT security matters, conducting risk evaluations, and overseeing the information security management framework.
- Collaborating on security measures, tracking progress, and providing reports, while offering strategic advice on achieving security objectives and recommending security solutions.
- Facilitating communication across various teams to foster a culture of transparency regarding risks and opportunities.
We expect you to have:
- Substantial professional experience in information risk or security management, along with familiarity with ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, and hands-on IT security expertise.
- Proficiency in security monitoring, platform security, operational resilience, cybercrime defense, and change management.
- Fluency in both German and English, readiness for international travel, and exceptional presentation and communication skills.
