Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Mytheresa. As a key member of our shipping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of shipments and customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Correspond with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Comply with occupational safety and process specifications to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct internal audits and controls to identify areas for improvement and implement measures for continuous process enhancement.
- Train employees on quality standards to ensure consistency and excellence in our shipping operations.
- Identify potential for improvement and implement measures to enhance work processes and improve key performance indicators.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to support operations and make data-driven decisions.
- Accurately and efficiently handle customer inquiries and problems, complete documentation, and facilitate cross-departmental cooperation.
- Process tickets in various ticket systems to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer care, transport service providers, and customs matters.
- Ensure the proper handling of shipments and goods, including written and verbal communication with forwarding agents.
- Monitor delivery dates and process complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process shipping orders and prepare delivery and customs documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor deadlines, payments, and outstanding documentation to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial training or training in logistics, with experience in warehouse management and problem/error handling.
- Knowledge in the field of customs clearance is an advantage.
- Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel, and merchandise management systems.
- Affinity for numbers and analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making.
- Independent, structured, and responsible work style to ensure seamless operations.
- Very good German and good English skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and hands-on mentality to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to work shifts to meet business needs.
