Cloud Network Architect Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Architect to join our team at ventx and take on the responsibility of designing and implementing scalable and highly available cloud network architectures in Microsoft Azure.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and implement scalable and highly available cloud network architectures in Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage and optimize virtual networks (VNETs), subnets, and network components in the Azure cloud environment.
  • Configure VPNs, ExpressRoute, and other network connections for secure and reliable network communication.
  • Implement and maintain network security groups (NSG) and firewalls to ensure network security and compliance.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team and other departments to ensure seamless integration of network and cloud services.
  • Evaluate new Azure network services and technologies for continuous improvement of the cloud network infrastructure.
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Minimum completed IT education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of experience as a network specialist focusing on cloud networks and Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid knowledge in planning and implementing Azure network architectures, VNETs, subnets, and VPN connections.
  • Experience with network security, firewall configuration, and network monitoring in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with routing, load balancing, and other network technologies in the cloud.
  • Skills in automation tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI for efficient configuration management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Fluent in German and English.
Desirable Skills:
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
  • Automation of network tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, PowerShell DSC, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates.
