Position Overview:

We are looking to enhance our workforce by hiring a Senior Network Administrator (m/f/d) for a full-time role in Dresden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and manage the network infrastructure at Cloud&Heat, including firewalls, switches, and servers.
  • Oversee data center operations, ensuring solutions and products are up-to-date.
  • Enhance and support server and network infrastructure, focusing on security architecture and data backup solutions.
  • Engage in optimizing system environments through hardware and software configurations.
  • Contribute to various IT projects.
  • Offer consulting services and technical support to clients.
  • Deliver 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-level technical support.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux-based systems.
  • Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including routing, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Ability to comprehend complex system architectures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, along with reliability and dedication.
  • Familiarity with SDN and current network operating systems is a plus.
