Publicis Media Germany is on the lookout for a seasoned Product Manager specializing in dashboarding and reporting. This role is pivotal in shaping our comprehensive software product suite, allowing you to influence our organization significantly across various levels, particularly in data visualization and workflow applications, as part of a global team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement the product vision and roadmap, fostering innovation while aligning with the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Report directly to the Director of Product within the technology division, collaborating with agile teams dedicated to developing and maintaining cloud-based software products. You will oversee our Dashboarding & Reporting solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, grasping their needs and executing the product roadmap to drive business value.
  • Utilize a continuous discovery methodology to gauge user requirements, incorporating feedback into product development to enhance satisfaction and maximize business outcomes.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, establishing clear expectations regarding timelines and feasibility, ensuring reliable delivery from your team.
  • Build trust with engineering, data, and UX teams by ensuring that developments align with business objectives while allowing for research, refactoring, security, scalability, and automation.
  • Engage hands-on in product and feature development, ensuring rapid learning and alignment with business requirements and customer needs.
  • Define key business objectives, KPIs, and success metrics, monitoring and improving them continuously.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics using OKRs, regularly analyzing product performance and driving enhancements based on both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Effectively navigate an agile environment, managing the product lifecycle and maintaining a clear, concise product roadmap.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitive dynamics to influence product strategy and anticipate customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a product manager with a successful track record in launching and scaling software products from inception, preferably in the advertising or media sector.
  • Prior experience in developing Dashboarding & Reporting products.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting product discovery sessions with users.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships in a hybrid work environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • A strong analytical mindset for interpreting trends and translating them into actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of BI tools and the ability to engage effectively with BI development and software engineering teams.
  • A strategic thinker grounded in practical realities, embodying the philosophy of 'Live in the future, then build what's missing' (P. Graham).
  • Ideally, over 1 year of experience with OKRs.
  • Professional experience as a software developer is a plus, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1) and German (minimum B2).
