Job Title: First Level Supporter

Are you looking for a challenging role in IT support where you can utilize your technical skills and provide excellent customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for a First Level Supporter to join our team at GULP – experts united.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Service Desk team. As a First Level Supporter, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and effective support to resolve customer complaints and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote access to customers experiencing software and hardware issues.
  • Assist customers with handling and application issues.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Provide initial solutions through remote support.
  • Prioritize, classify, and document faults in client-dependent ticket systems.
  • Forward faults to downstream units.
  • Document solutions.
  • Maintain system data and the knowledge database.
  • Collaborate in internal Service Desk projects.
  • Work shadowing at the customer's site.
  • Technical support during transitions.
Requirements
  • Experience in 1st or 2nd level support.
  • Confident handling of Windows 10, Microsoft Office or Office 365, and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Good knowledge of ticket and remote tools and enjoy documentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard hardware.
  • Knowledge in the area of ITIL.
  • Very good written and spoken German and good English skills.
  • High service and customer orientation.
  • A solution-oriented and reliable way of working.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
