As a Sustainability Specialist at Quantis, your responsibilities will include:

Your goal is to dedicate your efforts to guiding global corporations in enhancing their environmental performance and collaborating on actionable strategies to foster change within their organizations while effectively communicating their sustainability initiatives.
With over three years of experience in Climate Strategy, you have honed your skills in goal setting (Science-Based Targets, Net Zero), mitigation strategies, carbon accounting, and reporting frameworks, ideally complemented by consulting experience. Your expertise is supported by a robust understanding of environmental science.
Experience in Footprinting / Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or a desire to develop related technical skills is advantageous.
You possess a science-based orientation and a profound intellectual curiosity, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
You have a penchant for performing technical analyses, modeling, and data management.
You can collect, process, manage, and interpret data in a manner that is accessible to audiences with varying levels of sustainability knowledge.
You are capable of deriving valuable insights from analyses and preparing clear, compelling reports and presentations of results.
As a strategic thinker, you can lead processes and provide clients with clear recommendations in the climate strategy domain.
You have proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Your strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills are evident.
You are enthusiastic about teamwork and supporting your colleagues.
A Master's or PhD degree in environmental engineering, sciences, or related fields is required.
You communicate effectively in German and English.
AS A SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST – CLIMATE, YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
- Consulting with clients to help them understand and implement Climate Strategy topics alongside our experienced project managers, crafting client recommendations on sustainability with input from other Quantis team members.
- Developing tailored solutions to tackle Climate Strategy challenges in collaboration with the key account manager.
- Topics will encompass: SBT, neutrality, compensation, reduction roadmaps, carbon pricing, risk analysis, and more.
- Conducting a variety of quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the formulation of client sustainability solutions. This includes quantitative analyses such as life cycle assessment (LCA), corporate and/or product footprinting (carbon, water, etc.), and climate impact reduction scenario modeling.
- Preparing clear and persuasive reports and presentations of analyses, results, insights, and recommendations to facilitate the project team's communication with clients.
- Assisting the project team in enhancing clients' understanding and implementation of solutions.
- Supporting the sales process when requested, including contributing expertise to proposal development and client meetings.
- Identifying opportunities to assist others and taking initiative.

- Location: Flexible remote-working policy.
- Frequent collaboration with other Quantis branches via web-conferences.
