About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Production Planning Manager to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our SAP Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of SAP Production Planning and Project System solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the introduction of SAP as a central contact person in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics concepts and solutions for customers from various industries in S/4HANA.
- Advise clients throughout the entire project lifecycle on all issues related to Production Planning (SAP PP) and Project System (PS) in S/4HANA, starting with the analysis of the process and system landscape to the implementation and Hypercare.
- Capture the as-is processes and define the to-be processes with your team. Identify improvement measures and define solutions in PP and PS in S/4HANA taking into account the relevant interfaces (e.g. MES, PCO, etc.).
- Configure SAP PP and PS (master data, such as material master, bills of materials, and work plans but also their processes), monitor the implementation, conduct software tests, and accompany the cutover and rollouts.
- Work on cross-team, innovative, national, and international projects that challenge you both technically and professionally, and where you can develop yourself.
- Use your expertise to shape our solution portfolio. Independently pick up on new trends and develop our service offerings in the area of SAP Supply Chain PP and PS.
- Contribute your experience to the preparation of offers and contract negotiations.
Requirements
- (Senior) Manager (m/f/d) SAP Supply Chain Production/ Production Planning will join us with a successfully completed degree in Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable course of studies with a focus on Logistics.
- You have at least 4 years of professional experience in industry and/or consulting in the fields of production, production planning, material requirements planning.
- You convince with solid experience in project management as well as in customer consulting and acquisition.
- You have SAP project experience in various project phases (Fit/Gap, Design, Implementation, Test, Rollout, etc.) and experience with Agile methods like Scrum.
- You are fluent in German and English.
- To be able to optimally advise our clients on site, you have a high willingness to travel.
