Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled EEE Engineer to join our team in Oberpfaffenhofen. As an EEE Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating EEE part selection, qualification, and procurement for space applications. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing EEE part quality assurance, including DCL and PAD review, and participation in the Parts Control Board.
  • Evaluating components for compliance with project requirements and manufacturing aspects for in-house designs.
  • Initiating and supporting the procurement of EEE parts and managing EEE part qualification programs.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and releasing EEE documentation, such as DCLs, PADs, and qualification status.
  • Processing parts non-conformities and providing technical support for NRB decisions.
  • Managing relations with component suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Managing EEE alerts and their documentation in the internal parts database.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a similar discipline.
  • Quality and Product Assurance background.
  • Technical understanding of EEE part technologies and failure mechanisms for different part families.
  • Working knowledge of EEE standards and specifications, such as ESA/ESCC/ECSS and MIL standards.
  • Fluently written and spoken English.

Optional Skills

While not required, experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space, relevant test methods for component qualification and screening, knowledge of the market for electronic components for space applications, and experience in circuit design and electronic assembly processes would be beneficial.
