Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled EEE Engineer to join our team. As an EEE Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the selection, qualification, and procurement of EEE parts for space applications. This includes managing the quality assurance process, evaluating components for compliance with project requirements, and initiating procurement of EEE parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EEE part selection, qualification, and procurement for space applications
  • Manage the quality assurance process, including DCL and PAD review, and participation in the Parts Control Board
  • Evaluate components for compliance with project requirements and manufacturing aspects
  • Initiate and support the procurement of EEE parts and manage EEE part qualification programs
  • Prepare, review, and release EEE documentation, including DCLs, PADs, and qualification status
  • Process parts non-conformities and provide technical support for NRB decisions
  • Manage relations with component suppliers and manufacturers
  • Manage EEE alerts and their documentation in the internal parts database

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a similar discipline
  • Quality and Product Assurance background
  • Technical understanding of EEE part technologies and failure mechanisms for different part families
  • Working knowledge of EEE standards and specifications (ESA/ESCC/ECSS and MIL standards)
  • Fluently written and spoken English

Optional Skills

  • Professional experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space
  • Experience with relevant test methods for component qualification and screening
  • Knowledge of the market for electronic components for space applications
  • Experience in circuit design and electronic assembly processes
