About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research and Development Intern to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our Stock Preparation department, you will be responsible for developing new test rigs, planning and executing tests, and analyzing results.

Your Tasks

  • Design, develop, and operate pilot-scale test rigs to evaluate new technologies and processes.
  • Plan and execute tests on test rigs, analyzing results and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Support external trials in paper mills, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct literature research on paper technology topics to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Assist with design engineering tasks, applying your technical knowledge to drive innovation.

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on product development.
  • You possess excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, particularly MS Excel.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing theoretical and practical activities.
  • You communicate fluently in German and/or English, both written and spoken.
  • You are a team player, eager to collaborate and contribute to the development of new technologies.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and methodical approach to work.
