Senior Powertrain Support Engineer

Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Support Engineer to join its team in Alzenau, Germany. As a key member of the powertrain group, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring powertrain activities during in-car tests and events.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement powertrain management system strategies and calibration plans prior to events and tests.
- Prepare and execute powertrain specific test plans during tests, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor engine and gearbox data during tests and events, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide detailed reports on powertrain performance, including testing results, calibration, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with the event team, including engineers and drivers, to ensure seamless powertrain operations.
- Support dyno calibration activities as needed, ensuring accurate and reliable engine performance.
- M.Sc. or MEng in a technical engineering field, with a focus on engine development.
- Previous experience in the motorsport environment, preferably in WRC, Endurance, GT, or F1.
- Excellent understanding of internal combustion race engine fundamentals, including engine management systems and data analysis.
- Experience with engine calibration and performance optimization.
- Fluent English language skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Engine Management Systems and data analysis, with experience in Marelli or equivalent systems.
