As a Digital Marketing Campaign Specialist (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in the execution and enhancement of digital marketing initiatives tailored for the global American Express team. This position entails direct accountability for the technical feasibility, trafficking, scheduling, and successful delivery of our marketing campaigns.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the inventory available and optioned against established KPIs
  • Offer strategic recommendations for campaign placements, timing, and elements based on inventory, client briefs, and budget considerations
  • Set up and maintain the Google Ad Manager server
  • Generate mid- and final campaign performance reports
  • Provide input for case studies to the Marketing Team, including relevant screenshots
  • Establish and manage banner campaigns through Google Ad Manager
  • Oversee the management system (Trello), ensuring clear communication of campaign requirements to all involved teams
  • Assist the Digital Campaign Manager in client interactions and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Adjust campaigns on social media platforms to meet traffic goals
  • Communicate upcoming campaign needs to all relevant teams
  • Coordinate all necessary approvals from American Express for display advertising
  • Set up and optimize booked banner campaigns to guarantee delivery of agreed impressions and favorable click-through rates
Candidate Profile

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in ad trading and reporting, coupled with a keen interest in the media landscape and digital technologies.

  • A degree in media management or a related field with a focus on marketing and web technology
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in Digital Campaigns
  • A strong interest in online marketing trends, programmatic advertising, and ad technology, along with familiarity with digital business models
  • A digital native with knowledge of common ad servers and tracking solutions such as Google Ad Manager; experience with at least one ad server is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently, stay organized, and proactively engage with new topics and developments
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
