Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Compliance Assistant to support our Compliance Department in Aschheim (Munich). The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the identification of compliance-related risks.
- Creating, improving, and submitting global and local company policies and regulations, as well as process specifications.
- Providing education and training to employees, and conducting compliance interviews.
- Monitoring company and employee activities regarding compliance matters.
- Investigating non-compliant behavior.
- Providing advice and internal communication on all compliance-related matters in relation to the company, its subsidiaries, and branches, as well as its parent company in Japan.
- Supervising related compliance measures and structures.
- Developing the compliance management system and supervising KYB Europe's subsidiaries and branches in this task.
- Preparing and executing compliance-related reporting activities to the company's top management and the company's parent company in Japan.
- You have an apprenticeship or a degree with a background in law and/or business administration, and have already gained first experience with regulatory requirements in the field of compliance.
- You have a structured and analytical way of thinking and working, and the ability to understand complex topics.
- You have a strong understanding of risks and control needs.
- You are strongly motivated to learn the requirements and structure of a compliance management system.
- You have excellent communication skills and attitudes to support a multinational team.
- You are either a German native speaker or you have excellent German language skills in terms of both speaking and writing.
- You have high-level business English skills as well as high-level business Japanese language skills in terms of both speaking and writing.
- You are used to safe handling of common MS-Office applications.
