At Q CELLS, we're pushing the boundaries of solar energy innovation. As a Process Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in developing highly efficient solar cells and modules, with a focus on lamination and sealing processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize processes for encapsulating next-generation solar cells, ensuring seamless transfer to production sites worldwide.
  • Evaluate new technologies and system concepts, collaborating with global suppliers to drive innovation.
  • Work closely with our Research and Development team to advance new module generations.
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Hold a degree in materials science, natural sciences, engineering, or a completed apprenticeship (mechatronics engineer preferred) with at least five years of professional experience.
  • Bring initial professional experience and specialist knowledge in solar module function, production, and concepts.
  • Have knowledge of lamination and butyl/hot-melt application.
  • Be a strong communicator with a systematic, analytical approach.
  • Fluency in German and English, with a willingness to travel worldwide.
