About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Account Manager to join our dynamic DACH sales team at Mimecast. As a Channel Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our MSP partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new MSP partners to Mimecast in the DACH region, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Provide exceptional partner experience to the Mimecast MSP Channel in the DACH region, driving lead generation and account growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of MSP accounts, building strong relationships with key contacts, and developing business plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Support MSP partners with lead generation activities, customer support escalations, training, and enablement requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including Marketing, Support, Licensing, and Renewals, to ensure a world-class partner experience.
  • Engage with Marketing to drive Channel Marketing Programs and communications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance, ensuring they meet program requirements, including sales and technical certifications, and revenue goals.
  • Provide executive alignment with Mimecast and MSP stakeholders, working closely with MSP sales and technical teams within all partners.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class experience for MSP partners, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal.
  • Accurately forecast MSP opportunities and commit to following and adapting your own operating model tasks and KPIs for consistent, scalable, and predictable performance.
  • Commit to continuous personal development, including training and enablement programs, product, market, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management and/or Sales, with a focus on Channel and/or Distribution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in high-growth and changeable environments, with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
  • Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in German and English.
