Position Overview:
The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves a range of duties including:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Leading and executing global IT initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with various departments and external partners to coordinate IT projects effectively.
- Assessing and integrating innovative solutions to improve IT systems.
- Documenting and refining operational processes to streamline infrastructure management.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Strong expertise in Backup solutions (e.g., Veeam), VDI technologies (e.g., Citrix XenDesktop), and VMware ESX.
- Proficient in System Monitoring, Microsoft Server, and Linux/UNIX environments.
- Solid understanding of network architecture and security measures.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
- A genuine interest in tackling new challenges in network and system administration.
