SAP Solutions Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly capable SAP Consulting / Engineering Manager to spearhead our SAP division and supervise the execution and delivery of diverse SAP initiatives.At EPAM, you will have the chance to not only drive our SAP business expansion across the DACH region as an architect and expert but also nurture our onsite team of skilled professionals dedicated to ensuring the success of our regional projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and lead a team of SAP specialists, offering direction, mentorship, and support Assume responsibility for technical and functional leadership, ensuring robust architecture and adherence to quality benchmarks Provide technical proficiency and architectural guidance in SAP configuration, customization, and integration Conduct performance assessments, identify training requirements, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the SAP Team Encourage collaboration between SAP consulting and engineering teams and other organizational units Articulate the business advantages of SAP solutions and illustrate how the design and system architecture will facilitate the attainment of business objectives Prepare project time frame and budget estimations, resource allocations, and quality metrics Oversee the creation of customer proposals and statements of work for SAP projects Collaborate with Architects and Project/Delivery Management teams to analyze, design, build, test, and effectively implement SAP solutions Manage customer expectations, relationships, and issues in partnership with account managers throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards in all SAP project undertakingsQualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Proficient in both German and English Over 8 years of substantial experience in SAP consulting and engineering, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP DSC implementations Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of managing SAP teams and delivering intricate projects Comprehensive understanding of the SAP product suite, architecture, configuration, integration, and customization Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and address technical challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a commitment to staying informed about the latest SAP technologies and industry developmentsPreferred Qualifications
