Procurement Specialist - Consumer Goods

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in planning and coordinating our procurement processes, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate seamless communication between procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer orders promptly.
  • Coordinate container shipments from Asia, managing logistics and ensuring timely arrival of goods.
  • Handle administrative customs processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Compare prices from multiple suppliers before placing orders to secure the best value for our company.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement management to implement strategies and achieve procurement goals.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly within the consumer goods sector.
  • Background in freight forwarding, procurement, administration, logistics, or customs procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent digital literacy with proficiency in MS-Office, Apple products, and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
