Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team at SwissCommerce Management GmbH as a Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities, managing inventory levels, and overseeing import processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between purchasing, sales, and warehouse departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Coordinate container shipments from international suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle administrative customs processes, including documentation and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough price comparisons to ensure cost-effectiveness and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement management to develop and implement purchasing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in purchasing or a related field, preferably with consumer goods.
  • A background in shipping or procurement is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ERP systems to drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
