Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and administration of our IT systems, including Linux/Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and administer IT systems, including Linux/Unix environments
  • Plan, install, and configure IT systems, including servers, printers, networks, firewalls, and directory services
  • Integrate Gitlab CI/CD
  • Support the development team in implementing technical requirements
  • Contribute to the development of existing software solutions
  • Automate recurring tasks and problems
  • Investigate and resolve errors, and if necessary, involve external service providers
  • Document workflows
Requirements
  • Completed education as a computer scientist, study in the field of information technology, or equivalent qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Linux servers, shell, systemd, CUPS
  • Experience with Git and Linux containers, VMs
  • Knowledge of Zabbix administration desirable
  • Awareness of IT security and data protection in the execution of tasks
  • Independent and structured working style; knowledge of project management or ticket systems
  • Strong customer orientation and good communication skills
  • Solution-oriented and networked thinking and action
  • Strong willingness to learn and a hands-on mentality
  • Helpful but not a requirement: connection to fire departments, rescue services, THW, etc.
  • German on a native speaker level
