Senior Project Manager

Your Responsibilities- Overseeing the execution of large-scale battery energy storage initiatives both domestically and internationally.
- Engaging in diverse project stages, from initial concept development through contract negotiations to final commissioning.
- Enhancing innovative techno-commercial agreements for battery energy storage systems that establish industry benchmarks in innovation, dependability, and performance.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners, and international stakeholders including project developers, suppliers, and energy providers.
- Proactively contributing to the growth of the business segment to broaden Fichtner's footprint and offerings in battery energy storage.
- Conducting site visits and business travel as necessary throughout various project phases (approximately 15-20% of working hours).
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, ideally in electrical engineering.
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in deploying utility-scale battery energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in preparing EPC and supplier bids.
- Familiarity with the integration of battery energy storage systems with other technologies is a significant advantage.
- Experience with MATLAB is a plus.
- Fluency in both English and German is required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with international colleagues and external partners.
- Significant autonomy allowing you to operate with personal responsibility.
