Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute initiatives from strategic business plans and market approaches concerning global, regional, and significant local clients.
  • Lead and participate in the launch of products and services, including the creation of sales tools and marketing materials.
  • Cultivate and expand business relationships with designated global accounts to secure approvals, initial business, endorsements, and references.
  • Manage and oversee relevant regional accounts effectively.
  • Formulate and implement pricing strategies for global and pertinent regional accounts, in close collaboration with local sales teams.
  • Track and follow up on opportunities generated globally, encouraging replication.
  • Analyze market data and keep an eye on competitors.
  • Build a robust network and partnership with internal technical teams.
  • Initiate product benchmarking, communicate findings, and translate them into compelling selling points.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze, and share information regarding competitor offerings.
  • Engage in the testing and rollout of new and existing product concepts, leading new product launches with necessary sales tools and marketing documentation.
  • Propose and monitor new product development processes, ensuring alignment and updates according to market demands.
  • Create and distribute effective sales tools to support the sales team in positioning and selling Freudenberg products.
  • Contribute to the design of new services and their market introduction.
  • Identify potential new markets/applications for Freudenberg, assess opportunities, and develop business strategies.
  • Compile product and service offerings for newly identified markets/applications.
  • Provide qualified assistance in managing customer complaints.
  • Conduct training sessions, presentations, seminars, and workshops for employees and clients.
  • Author and publish technical articles and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to discuss and agree on tasks and responsibilities of assigned sales teams, ensuring alignment of market development efforts.
  • Create and update sales and marketing materials.
  • Engage in continuous global market monitoring, observation, and evaluation in partnership with business development.
  • Drive efforts to secure significant sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering (technical university, university of applied sciences), preferably with a focus on mechanical engineering, machine elements, or a similar field.
  • Extensive experience in sales, applications, marketing, or product management.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English; proficiency in German is desirable.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30%).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
