About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our team at Städtische Werke Netz + Service GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful project management and implementation of comprehensive fiber optic infrastructure projects in buildings (FTTH/FTTB).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the timely and qualitative monitoring and acceptance of fiber optic infrastructure in buildings, up to handover to the network operator.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications or building infrastructure sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of fiber optic technology.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in German and English.
