**Are you skilled in maintaining and repairing large machinery?** Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and engage in a fulfilling career with the U.S. Army Europe and Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and significant repairs on heavy wheeled, tracked, and specialized mobile machinery.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and fine-tune engines and associated components.
- Manufacture and modify parts and tools as needed.
- Execute bodywork tasks involving welding, straightening, and soldering.
- Operate specialized diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Completion of vocational training lasting a minimum of 30 months in the relevant field or 5 years of specialized experience.
- Possession of a German driver's license class B is mandatory.
- Successful completion of Physical Exam G20, G24, G25.
- Language proficiency required: English Level A1 and German Level C1.
- Two permanent full-time positions available (38.5 hours/week).
- Flexibility to work on TDY, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
