Compulsory Internship in Supply Chain Management

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Purchased Parts Planning team at Mercedes-Benz AG. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain management processes and contributing to the success of our company.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the disposition of purchased parts and learn about relevant procurement processes
  • Coordinate follow-up deliveries with various departments, including purchasing, quality management, and production
  • Identify and develop optimization options for bottleneck situations
  • Analyze inventory-driving components and implement measures to reduce inventory
  • Network with other interns in the Supply Chain Center and beyond

**Requirements**

  • Degree in logistics, economics, or business administration
  • Proficient written and spoken German and English skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote; SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a team
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts
  • Organizational skills and a structured approach to work
