Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting Hub as an Intern/Working Student. As part of our Investment Accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing evaluations for reporting within the group, supporting the team in day-to-day business, and contributing to special projects and tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process evaluations for reporting within the group
- Support the team in day-to-day business
- Contribute to special projects and tasks of the Investment Accounting team
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB and regulatory reports
Requirements
- Currently at an advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other business-related fields
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in or first practical experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB, ideally complementary in accounting
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently
- Team player with good communication skills
- Analytical mindset
- Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year
Preferred Qualifications
- High degree of sensitivity and accuracy in working
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers
- Experience in handling and interpreting data
- Proficiency in complex Excel spreadsheets, including data modeling, Access is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and well-structured manner
- Experience in project work, consulting, or the financial services industry is a plus
