Senior Application Specialist – O9 (f/m/d)
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
What you will be doing:
You will lead the deployment of O9 advanced planning solutions, acting as a crucial link between Supply Chain, internal teams, and external IT partners. You will serve as the authority on O9 solution configuration and customization, guiding clients on the potential capabilities and standard features of O9. You will create and enhance sophisticated reports and tenant functionalities to assist business teams in their daily master planning tasks across the entire Supply Chain. As the O9 platform specialist, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of the data flow and process landscape, including the SSIS integration layer, and will be adept at identifying data discrepancies. You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, and O9's technical architecture. You will identify design flaws within the application and coordinate with O9 solutions to address these issues promptly. You will act as the primary contact for change requests or enhancements related to the application. You will develop and execute workflow and data analytics test cases. You will manage bugs and issues, tracking progress through support tools. You will facilitate training for key users and assist in change management for business stakeholders.What we are looking for:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A solid foundational understanding of programming, along with knowledge of Supply Chain planning concepts, including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning, and S&OP. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with O9 applications; familiarity with other planning applications such as Quintiq or Blue Yonder is a plus. Proficiency in Python and IBPL. Expertise in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and strong SQL skills, along with proficiency in MS Office. Skills in statistical analysis, optimization, and simulation using software tools and packages like R, JavaScript, or Python are advantageous. Experience in project management. Fluency in both German and English is essential.What we offer:
