International Tax Consultant - TRATON SE

TRATON SE, a prominent player in the commercial vehicle sector with renowned brands such as Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, is on the lookout for an International Tax Consultant to enhance their proficient team. The organization is dedicated to transforming transportation and fostering sustainable economic development while honoring both people and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert tax guidance on corporate and international tax issues for TRATON SE entities or those arising from mergers and acquisitions.
  • Assist in the tax governance framework for TRATON SE.
  • Engage in project teams to explore specific topics and devise effective solutions.
  • Act as the liaison with external tax consultants both locally and globally.
  • Facilitate the tax department's transition to digital processes.
  • Track and evaluate significant updates in domestic and international tax legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Certified tax advisor in Germany or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or within the tax division of a multinational corporation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate and international tax regulations along with M&A experience.
  • Exceptional time management, analytical, and technical abilities.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience collaborating within diverse teams.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
