Tax & Customs Consultant - TRATON SE
TRATON SE, a prominent manufacturer in the commercial vehicle sector, encompassing brands such as Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, is in search of a Tax & Customs Consultant to enhance their proficient team. The organization is dedicated to advancing transportation solutions while fostering sustainable economic development, with a commitment to both people and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert advice on corporate and international tax issues for TRATON SE entities, including matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist in the oversight of tax governance for TRATON SE.
- Engage in project teams to explore specific topics and devise effective solutions.
- Act as the liaison with external tax consultants, both nationally and internationally.
- Support the tax division in the rollout of digital processes.
- Keep abreast of and evaluate significant developments in domestic and international tax legislation.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a tax advisor in Germany or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or within the tax department of a global corporation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate and international tax law, alongside experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- Exceptional skills in time management, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience collaborating within diverse teams.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
