ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Lead Project Coordinator, you will oversee the management of our projects, guiding them from initial prospects to the successful delivery of operational plants (wind & solar). Your role will align with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring that projects are executed under optimal conditions to support the overall business plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • BUSINESS PLAN DEVELOPMENT – Collaborate in identifying ideal geographical locations for constructing solar or wind farms, contributing to the achievement of business objectives.
  • REGULATORY RELATIONS – Maintain up-to-date progress on your projects, facilitate information exchange, and ensure that targets are met, allowing for effective monitoring of ongoing projects. Build a network of high-level contacts through regular on-ground presence.
  • PROJECT OVERSIGHT – Manage projects from opportunity identification to handover to the Construction and Asset Management Team, adhering to company processes. Ensure timely delivery and cost management from the promotion stage through construction to operational commencement.
  • TEAM COORDINATION – Supervise and coordinate all teams involved in each project phase (engineering, construction, procurement, financing, M&A, energy assessment, environmental compliance, legal consultancy, etc.) to ensure seamless collaboration and quality contributions.
  • INDUSTRY INSIGHT – Gain a comprehensive understanding of competitors and key players in the energy sector, propose strategies to identify opportunities, and anticipate risks to maintain the company's competitive edge. Forge potential partnerships with other promotion companies or relevant stakeholders.
  • BUDGET AND BUSINESS PLAN MANAGEMENT – Participate in defining and updating the business plan and budget for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines and cost targets. Advocate for investments in areas critical to achieving business unit objectives.
  • INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATION – Act as the company representative before energy transport and distribution organizations, as well as public administration and elected officials, to advocate for the company's strategic interests.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  1. EDUCATION – A university degree in a technical field is preferred, though extensive experience in development may be considered.
  2. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE – 5-8 years of experience in photovoltaic or wind development.
  3. SECTOR KNOWLEDGE – Familiarity with renewable energy regulations is highly valued.
  4. LANGUAGE SKILLS – Proficiency in both spoken and written German and English is required; Spanish is a plus.
  5. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES – Must be autonomous, adaptable, and multi-skilled. Proactive prioritization of workload is essential, along with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
