IT Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to oversee and manage complex IT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and applying best practices in project management.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from planning through to completion, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
- Budget and Reporting: Monitor project budgets, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects, defining project scope, developing plans, and structuring the project for success.
- Scope and Structure: Define project scope, develop plans, and structure the project for success, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Business Relationship Management (BRM) to clarify and coordinate project requirements, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Communication Strategy: Manage stakeholders, perform analysis, and create communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment, facilitating project success.
- Project Planning: Define work packages, establish timelines, and identify interdependencies between projects, ensuring effective project execution.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional IT teams to achieve project goals, identifying integrative topics and dependencies between workstreams, and driving project success.
- Workshops & Meetings: Organize and facilitate project workshops, status meetings, and decision-making sessions, ensuring effective collaboration and project progress.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project execution, applying best practices in risk management.
- Project Methodologies: Apply project management methodologies like PRINCE2, PMI, or IPMA for effective project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Education: A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong foundation in project management principles.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Methodology Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA), with the ability to apply them effectively in project execution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of ERP systems and IT landscapes, with the ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team, driving project success.
- Mindset: Structured, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently with a high level of initiative, with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and adaptability to changing project demands, with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
- Languages: Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
