Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our headquarters in Berlin. Key Responsibilities- Process large data volumes, modeling and transforming data from centralized data warehouses and external databases to build strategic analyses and operational KPIs.
- Utilize data visualization to support decision-making, crafting compelling dashboards for key business stakeholders.
- Develop scalable self-service reporting solutions and address diverse ad-hoc requests that transform our business.
- Collaborate closely with our global team and international colleagues to foster a data-driven culture by proposing innovative initiatives and building actionable data products.
- Interact with developers, data engineers, and management to propose new technologies, processes, and system improvements, as well as global data governance strategies.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, empowering them to excel in their contributions to the team's projects.
- Develop sustainable processes and methodologies to support the effectiveness of our Data Analytics function.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Profound experience in data analytics, ideally with large datasets.
- Excellent SQL skills and good knowledge of Python.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Looker or Tableau.
- Broad understanding of data analysis methods and storytelling.
- Results-driven and analytical character, with a strategic mindset to derive business insights.
- Effective communication skills - confident in presenting findings to senior management.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and data consumer needs.
- Strong interest to mentor junior colleagues with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Capability to plan and implement projects independently.
- Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Team leadership experience.
- Prior music industry experience.
- Experience with GCP, dbt, and Git.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of statistical methods and ML.
- Experience using ETL frameworks.
