At British American Tobacco, we're on a mission to achieve our ambition, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our team. As a Junior Key Account Manager, you'll play a crucial role in implementing our multicategory strategy and driving channel performance across accounts.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of channel strategies to achieve sales and market share goals.
- Support Channel Managers and Key Account Managers in planning, preparing, and evaluating activities to drive channel performance.
- Manage assigned key accounts and develop concepts to further drive channel performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects and tasks for the channel, including launches and sales cycles.
- Support the development of the Total Customer Invest strategy and annual marketing planning cycles.
- Act as a key contact for other departments, including Commercial Planning, Field Force, and Brand Marketing.
- Analyze and evaluate channel, account, and market data to inform business decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Marketing, preferably in Trade or Brand Marketing.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to build concepts and think strategically with commercial acumen.
- Independent working, flexibility, resilience, prioritization, and time management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, results orientation, and learning flexibility.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- University degree – bachelor's degree or higher.
- Commitment to becoming a future leader of BAT.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as BAT-owned systems.
- Very good proficiency in English and German.
