Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Product Owner (all genders) to enhance our team focused on our Augmented Reality product, Assist AR. This position will take charge of product initiatives and will report directly to the Director of Product Management. The role offers the chance to collaborate with two cross-functional engineering teams, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Product Owner within an Agile, Scrum framework, guiding product initiatives from conception through to release in close partnership with the Product Manager.
  • Contribute to shaping the product roadmap for our Augmented Reality offerings during the scrum process.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the team, translating their needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, UI/UX designers, and fellow Product Owners to deliver new features from start to finish.
  • Conduct market analysis and categorize customer requirements to inform product decisions.
  • Foster innovative ideas and strategies by actively gathering customer feedback, observing market trends, and performing competitive analyses.
  • Ensure the development team comprehends the objectives of product initiatives relevant to their work and is fully engaged in the process.
  • Manage the agile product development lifecycle and coordinate related workflows with Software Development, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Verify the technical feasibility and user-friendliness of planned features, ensuring they excite our customers.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally with a background in Product Management, Software Development, or Quality Assurance.
  • Strong technical acumen, with prior coding experience in languages such as Unity C# being advantageous.
  • Practical experience in driving Scrum and agile methodologies, particularly in Product Development.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
