Sustainability Project Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Project Assistant to join our team at METRO AG. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management, reporting, and event preparation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project management in areas such as sustainable products, waste management, and EU deforestation regulation
  • Assist with reporting, including data collection, analysis, and ESG reporting
  • Help prepare for events and meetings, such as the Sustainability Day and International Sustainability Summit
  • Support the preparation of documents for meetings and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Currently studying sustainability, economics, law, political science, communication science, or a comparable field
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Structured and conscientious work approach, with strong communication skills
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (corporate language is English)
