IT Sourcing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Sourcing Specialist to join our team at amedes Medizinische Dienstleistungen GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT sourcing strategies to identify and onboard external service providers in alignment with our IT department's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies to identify and onboard external service providers
  • Manage the end-to-end IT vendor management process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and ongoing relationship management
  • Track service levels against SLA, drive continuous improvement to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon SLAs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align vendor services to meet those needs
  • Closely collaborate with Procurement to meet commercial requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, fostering effective communication and addressing any issues or escalations in a timely manner
  • Monitor vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and proactively address contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to sourcing and vendor management in the healthcare sector
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, cost optimization, risk management, and process improvement related to sourcing and vendor management

Requirements:

  • Profound educational background in IT, Business Administration, or Legal
  • At least five years of experience in sourcing and vendor management
  • Business fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of IT managed services
  • Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and driving performance improvements
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Transformational leadership style to build trust, motivate, engage, and inspire colleagues
  • Strong service orientation and clear Can-Do attitude
