Offshore Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Vestas is seeking an experienced Offshore Shift Lead to join our team in the German North Sea. As a key member of our Service Offshore organization, you will be responsible for leading offshore operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead offshore operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring of maintenance activities
  • Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Provide regular performance reports and updates to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • 5+ years of professional experience with electrical systems, in wind or offshore, with HV
  • 2+ years in a similar position
  • Full driver's license
  • IT skills (SAP, MS Office)
  • Proactive decision maker, safety-focused, and quality-minded
  • Accountable person, leader, and team player
