Senior Test Engineer (m/w/d)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulating specifications for projects focusing on test management, including planning, coordination, and documentation of test scenarios.
  • Evaluating business processes during test planning and deriving specifications and measures for testing in close collaboration with project management and quality assurance.
  • Independently designing, planning, and executing both manual and automated tests, along with conducting error analysis in partnership with quality assurance.
  • Overseeing and managing testing projects concerning effort, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Tracking test progress and performance metrics, ensuring the quality and efficiency of system tests.
  • Managing errors, documenting, and analyzing test outcomes.
  • Coordinating and executing acceptance tests, system integrations, system tests, and customer training sessions.
  • Developing and implementing testing concepts, specifications, test cases, and testing environments.
  • Continuously enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining the testing framework, environment, and strategy.
  • Creating user documentation.
Candidate Profile:
  • Completed technical studies or equivalent qualifications.
  • Several years of diverse professional experience.
  • In-depth knowledge in functional development, embedded software development, and testing and validation processes.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and automation.
  • Familiarity with common tools such as Silk Central, HP ALM, and JIRA.
  • Experience in analyzing existing processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Willingness to travel moderately.
  • Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
