Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, performance, environmental, and safety assessments on both new and existing products.
- Develop comprehensive testing plans and cases for type testing (both electrical and mechanical) in alignment with product specifications and project timelines, focusing on quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with software, electronic, and mechanical engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure adherence to essential validation criteria of completeness and testability.
- Identify and implement process enhancements.
- Design and maintain robust automated verification systems for each assigned product to guarantee extensive test coverage.
- Work in partnership with IT, product management, engineering, and other relevant departments, becoming an integral member of the hardware/software development process from initial development through to production and service support.
Team Overview
You will engage with our multidisciplinary engineering team, which includes mechanical, electronic, firmware, and software engineers, based in various locations across Europe, forming a vital part of Fluke's engineering division.
You will maintain a close collaborative relationship with Fluke's technical specialists and our manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Our laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge optical, electronic, and vibration testing apparatus.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of microprocessor-controlled digital and analog electronics troubleshooting.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in testing or development, ideally with electronic measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with verification and validation methodologies, testing strategies, and requirements management.
- Programming expertise for test automation, with practical experience in Python or similar languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer science engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of continuous integration methodologies.
- Understanding of optical and mechanical vibration measurement testing.
- Capacity to learn new programming concepts, languages, and best practices.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Awareness of EMC and EMI principles.
