As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Fluke, you will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary product development team tasked with the enhancement, development, and maintenance of our Alignment and Vibration product offerings.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating product specifications, formulating testing strategies, designing test configurations, developing test automation, and executing assessments of both hardware and software components of Fluke products, ensuring they function optimally and surpass customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, performance, environmental, and safety evaluations of both new and existing products.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for type testing (electrical and mechanical) in alignment with product specifications and project timelines, focusing on quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with software, electronic, and mechanical engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure adherence to critical validation criteria.
- Identify and implement process enhancements.
- Create robust automated verification systems for each assigned product to guarantee extensive test coverage.
- Engage with IT, product management, engineering, and other relevant departments, serving as an integral team member throughout the hardware/software development process from inception to production and service support.
- Possess a solid understanding of microprocessor-controlled digital and analog electronics troubleshooting.
- Bring 3-5 years of professional experience as a tester or developer, preferably with electronic measurement instruments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of verification and validation processes, testing strategies, and requirements management.
- Exhibit programming skills for test automation, with hands-on experience in Python or similar languages being advantageous.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer science engineering, or a related field.
- Be familiar with continuous integration principles.
- Have knowledge of optical and mechanical vibration measurement testing.
- Show the ability to learn new programming concepts, languages, and best practices swiftly.
- Exhibit the capacity to navigate ambiguity and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Possess knowledge of EMC and EMI.
