Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SDK Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our SDKs, which enable our players to interface with online services and features.
Key Responsibilities
- SDK Development
- Design and develop robust and performant SDKs for PC and console games
- Ensure a developer-friendly implementation with proper documentation
- Collaborate with game and backend developers to integrate client-side SDKs with backend services
- Game Integration
- Support our studios in the integration of our SDKs
- Provide assistance with active implementation into various games
- API Development
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between SDKs and backend services
- Collaborate with backend developers to define API specifications and ensure smooth integration
- Security and Compliance
- Implement security best practices to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in backend development, security, and compliance
- Performance Optimization
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the SDKs to ensure optimal response times
- Conduct regular performance testing and optimization for keeping the memory and CPU consumption as low as possible
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in C++ and cross-compilation for various platforms
- Experience with game engines like Unreal and Unity
- Experience with game SDKs from all major first parties (Sony, Microsoft, Epic, Steam, Nintendo)
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with security best practices and common vulnerabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent in English
